How safe is your Loch Ness cruise?

Hi,
me and my family will soon leave Sweden for a to visit Scotland and Loch Ness. We are thinking about doing a cruise but are a bit sceptical about the safety. In what ways are your boats protected if the Sea Monster suddenly would appear? Are your boats armed? If yes - what kind of weapons?

Best regards,
Tim Fredriksson with family

Are you being serious? In all our years of operating cruises on Loch Ness I have never had such a question!
There is only one dangerous animal on this planet - man.
Do you honestly believe that we would carry weapons on our boat to kill one of these creatures.
I think you may have the wrong information about Loch Ness.

Hello again,

I don't think this is a strange question.
We want to see Loch Ness but most of all we want to see Nessie the Sea Monster.
You offer cruises on Loch Ness where visitors hopefully get a chance to see Nessie the Sea Monster.
So - what would happen IF Nessie appeared? And what would you do IF Nessie attacked the boat?
If you can't guarantee me and my family's safety during the cruise I will probably use another (better prepared and equiped) operator.

Best regards,

You will find that there are no operators on Loch Ness who will take your question seriously!
Do you think that we would jeopordize peoples lives if we thought these creatures were dangerous?

Ok, maybe I overreacted. But I still care about me and my family's safety. So, what IF Nessie the Sea Monster appears when we are on a cruise? What will you do? I assume you have some policy if this scenario would occur?

Best regards,

Take lots of photos and consider yourself extremely lucky that you have seen Nessie!
